Merry Christmas To Our Courageous Followers
2014 And Beyond
In 2014 and beyond we will continue the discussion about disclosure of HIV to potential sex partners. We look forward to posting more positive disclosure scenarios and outcomes, where people living with HIV begin to share stories about being accepted as equals in sexual relationships. We will continue to challenge myths, break down barriers and seek acceptance and understanding of HIV. We will strive towards removing fear and stigma on the dating scene which will in turn make disclosure easier for people living with HIV.
Our work is not done, it has just begun and we have a long way to go before public perceptions change. Through dialogue and awareness initiatives as well as collaboration with other organizations and individuals we strive to educate and bring about equality in relationships. We ultimately would like public perceptions to change sooner rather than later, as individuals think twice before saying no to sex, simply because a person is living with HIV. These goals will be reached as we move forward and provide solution focused information and messages in various forms which promote positive changes in the way people living with HIV are viewed by the general public. Our work will not be complete until every person living with HIV is able to have sex without fear, stigma or the threat of criminalization.
Merry Christmas and best wishes for the New Year, as we invite you to continue supporting us in our efforts,
The HIV Disclosure Project Team
